What does the weather do? With the BRESSER MeteoChamp HD WLAN weather center 7-in-1, you decide for yourself what the answer to this question should be. For this purpose, the dynamic 17.8 cm HD TFT color display prepares the measurement data of the two included sensors for you in different display modes. Get the weather views you need at the touch of a button: the home screen with the basic data and reliable weather forecast, the detailed display with even more information including high-low values and trends, or the overview page for temperature and air pressure.

But because meteorologically not only the moment counts, enthusiastic weathermen with the WLAN weather station also draw on the full range of historical data. The data log provides passionate amateur meteorologists with detailed measurement data with recording intervals of 5, 10 or 30 minutes - ready and waiting for USB export and further analysis on the PC. All max/min values of the day also appear on the screen of the WLAN weather station in no time at all. And with the history diagram you literally get the curve weather-technically.

The MeteoChamp weather center comes with two powerful outdoor sensors to your home. The 7-in-1 wireless sensor reliably measures outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. The highlight: the multi-sensor with large solar panel is powered entirely by the power of the sun. This is good for the environment as well as for the amateur meteorologist, who no longer needs to change batteries.

In the living room, the climate influences our well-being just as much as outside. That's why the WLAN weather station comes with a wireless sensor in addition to the integrated hygro-thermo sensor in the base station. This allows you to keep an eye on the indoor temperature and humidity in another room. In this way, you can check in a flash whether the air in the bathroom is dry enough or the temperature in the children's room is pleasant - and give mold and excessively dry air no chance.

Perfectly networked - share measured data with the WLAN weather station

In the age of the Internet, we naturally also want to call up our local weather data everywhere and share it with others. Via the WIFI function of the solar weather station, this can be done easily, and on up to 3 weather platforms. The established weather services ProWeatherLive, Weather Underground and Weathercloud are already created with the WLAN weather station with rain gauge and anemometer and ready to go in just a few steps. Another smart feature lets you start the day relaxed on frosty days: the ice/frost alarm. With it, the integrated alarm clock rings 30 min. earlier when the outside temperature drops below -3 °C. With the individually adjustable weather alarm, the solar-powered weather station then also signals you during the day when your limit values for wind speed, rain rate and co. are exceeded or undershot.

Cold weather, little sun - does the solar power still flow?

Here is a calculation example: If the solar panel charges only 4 hours a day due to weather conditions and the charging current drops to only 5 mA, 20 mAh will be charged in one day: 5 mA x 4h = 20 mAh.

Although the battery must supply the current for the remaining 20 hours of the day, additional current is stored. This is because a total of only 4.458 mAh of the charged 20 mAh is consumed during the day. 1 day with only 4 hours of charging time at only 5 mA is therefore already enough for more than 4 days of use: 20/4.458 = 4.48 days.

NOTE: It is not possible to deliver the battery in a fully charged state. At installation, the battery is expected to still have about 30 to 40% of its power, between 600 and 800 mAh. This charge alone will last you 118 days (600x0.88/4.458) to 158 days (800x0.88/4.458). So battery replacement will not be necessary with this sensor.
